Medical Pendant System
With the new "modularity design", MEGA II can be 360° customized to meet different customer uses in even severe space for all medical applications, in the environment such as OR, ICU, NICU and Emergency room. The 6-facet service head while maximizing the space utiliza-tion, can individually accepts electricity, data or medical gas panels.
Yet more to this, the pan-el can be positioned to the front right or left, mid front, back right or left, or mid at the back. This unique feature gives the customer more freedom to plan or design their own OR and other healthcare environment, but not only confine to what the manufacturers make.

Superior for spatial arrangement
Unlike the traditional design, the service head of MEGA II is minimized in size a great deal but maintain the sufficient strength to support of up to 5 platforms on either side. About 60% of space is saved for a double deck service head, but provide the same for accommodating the medical equipment.
Platforms are available in different designs and widths, with buttons for controlling the arm, and optional drawers underneath. The handles are made of plastic, thereby providing protection for collisions. Depending on the applications and the space available, platforms and drawers can be ergonomically installed either at the front or the rear. The platform also provides space to facilitate cable management, keeping excess cable lengths at the back of the platform.
Superior for versatility—of the arms
With the design rationale of optimizing the flexibility for MEGA II, the pendant is built with as many as mounting locations, not only on the service head but extended to the mechanical arm(s). This means the customer can install the monitor on the drop tube, on the right or left of the service head, or when requirements change, adding an additional monitor arm, multifunction rack, platforms, IV poles is a very easy task. More importantly, it reduces the time and cost for the changes.
Superior for versatility—of the service head
The entire service head is composed of several components:
- The mainframe provides the supporting base, and is available in four different lengths.
- Medical gas, low and high voltage panels are available for installation in all six facets. They can be selectively placed more to the back or to the front for different applications, and ease of use.
- The multifunction pole has four options in lengths (500mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1500mm), so that the customer can install it for different numbers of platforms, drawers, monitor arms, infusion rods and etc.
